He´s tidy and composed. One on one he´s outpaced or outstrengthed a few of our players to win the ball back.
I thought he and his midfield partner got sucked out of position very poorly for our first goal though. A little low energy too.

Look this is just a friendly but Virgil stood his ground and the little guy tried to go through him and got caught by the dangling leg of our CH, what is he supposed to do get out of the way, anyway there will be plenty of time left for both of us to argue if there is a similar situation at the other end in the second half.

I think the priority right now is just getting minutes on the pitch to build match fitness. I wouldn’t read too much into it.

He’s been slow footed for some time and it’s especially obvious when he has to react quickly. His reflexes aren’t what they used to be.
