Bradley minor injury reported. Hence the omittance from the trip.

Hopefully the squad will get through this trip unscathed, fingers crossed!

I notice they weren’t flying ‘cattle class’, like the rest of us.

I went first class once. If someone else is paying, I’d recommend letting them.

Who is this Lucas Leiva you speak of?

& can he play DM?

He was a defensive mid for us a while back. And no.

Are we setting up for a game against the LFC legends?

“LFC class of 2010 legends”

Why have any been spotted in Singapore?

“The community events that we’re doing tonight is the first of many. We’ll be doing soccer clinics with the LFC Foundation all week. Tonight is a special one with the Special Olympics, who we’ve worked with in multiple markets in the past. And then a number of different fan engagement events, so we’ve got the open training tomorrow night where fans get the chance to see the team train before the Leicester match. And then a number of different interactions with our former players, we’ve brought a number with us – Martin Skrtel, Lucas Leiva, Ian Rush, Gary McAllister. Then a number of our corporate partners – Standard Chartered, Nike, AXA, Expedia – all activating and putting on events for fans. As I said, a busy week but an important one for us.”

They are brought in to do the corporate commitments so the players dont have to and can concentrate on recovery when not in training

Yeah I get that, it’s just the word legends was used…I’ve only seen Lucas and skrtel being shown :joy:

Ah, you meant “Why? Have any been spotted?”

Anybody else think that even with Lavia on board our squad is at best only equal to last seasons? And in realistic terms probably slightly worse off?

Not really. We are swapping aging or permanently injured players for young and hopefully fit ones. Most should be on an upward trajectory .

I’m being realistic for the next season and I don’t expect them to be immediately up to speed. I think we will also see some disappointing results. However, I think we will see a coherent unit forming.

No, I think it’s significantly better. We’ve replaced our two worst starters - Henderson and Fabinho - with Szoboszlai and Mac Allister.

Just losing Fabinho alone is addition by subtraction.
