I cannot understand how Flo and Bradley got injured after the internationals as they were doing the rondos in training today? Are we doing an Arseteta?

According to TIA, Liverpool centre-back Wellity Lucky has suffered a “significant injury”.

After the Reds’ 2-1 win over Leeds U21s on Sunday, (coach Rob) Page told This Is Anfield: “Wellity’s injured. He picked up a significant injury in training a couple of weeks back so he’ll be out for a while.”

No further information provided by TIA.

Hugo has a dead leg. ‘Could play tomorrow’ according to Slot

We won’t be seeing Danns in the first team squad this season.

• Jayden Danns is to miss the next month as a precaution due to a new hamstring injury, This Is Anfield understands – the aim of resetting for pre-season should be the 20-year-old’s target now

Giorgi Mamardashvili faces three weeks out – Freddie Woodman next in line

Giorgi Mamardashvili is expected to be sidelined for three weeks after his collision against Everton led to a nasty gash on his left leg.

The goalkeeper was sent to hospital after being stretchered off the pitch due to a deep wound below his left knee inflicted while blocking Beto’s shot.

Mamardashvili’s personal update the morning after was that he was “fine” and will “be back soon,” but Geo Team, who have a close connection with the goalkeeper, expect a three-week return timeline.

They report the Georgian “had an open wound stitched” and the recovery will “determine the mobility of his knee,” leading to a likely three-week absence before he can return to training.
