How many people have been at the parade today?
If I remember correctly it have been 700.000 after our CL win in 2019.
This morning I was worried about a parade somehow. Felt players would be faking emotion, kinda dragged out to do it infront of a not massive crowd. Rival fans to mock it. Just felt it was going to be poor ngl. But JĆ¼rgen was mad for it, felt like we won the lot. The players, the crowds and the DJ was 100%. I have new found hope, excitement for next season after a draining one this season. Pity Sadio didnāt show but was nice to see the boys happy after a tough night. Same with the crowd. Good spirts all around
Can I just add something to this threadā¦we have our regulars, we have our newbies, we have our oldies(not age), we have our returners, we all add to the threads, some make us laugh, some make us smile, some make you think, some make us angry, some really rile and wind people upā¦but I think all in all we respect each others opinionsā¦but we all have one thing in common and that is LFCā¦how one club can bring all the people together, from far n wide I think is amazingā¦So we now look forward to 22/23 seasonā¦but knowing us on TANā¦the next few months will fly byā¦All this comes from watching the paradeā¦and wishing we could all be thereā¦right chap n chapessessāsā¦thats my thoughts off at a tangentā¦

Awesome Liverpool! Brilliant for Klopp to be so up for it and expect his attitude rubbed off on the players (again) so they all approached it in the right way and it will be another bonding experience. Hugely sceptical about the branding message āThis means moreā and understand why it would upset many other excellent fans of other clubs but stuff like this shows the marketing people really know their stuff and have done well with that one.
I wasnāt sure how it would be received after the disappointment of the last week but that was perfect. A cathartic release after the 2020 non parade and a nice pick-up and release that will allow the players to go away, recharge and then come back for the big trophies next season! Our psychological brains trust is superb.

I know how the players feel there. It was a big turn out when I did the Santa Dash round The Strand in 2019.
I saw Sadio on one of the buses in the LFCTV video of the parade. He looked serious though. Maybe thinking of all the wonderful supporters he will be leaving behind.
