Liverpool Trophy Parade

4am, wow. I just got back to my hostel at around that time.

Where were you the previous days and nights?

It was fantastic the 3 nights in Liverpool, we were everywhere.

Can’t wait to go back, maybe at the start of next season or in autumn.

I’ll wait for the CL group stage draw and see if there’s a cool destination, but after a few years of bloody lockdowns and shit happening, I definitely want to go to Liverpool more often.

Why not on Sunday 26th?

Can we close this until we’ve at least won one?

I think we’re getting ahead of ourselves here.

I’m not even thinking about the Europa League final, because I’ve got Springsteen tickets for that night. A cock up in the calendar department!

Sorry but I have to think about travel plans.

Guess date for a potential trophy parade depends more on reaching the FA Cup final or not.

I need to book a couple of nights in Liverpool.

This is what matters. With respect to the other comps, Jurgen needs another big trophy and celebrating number 20 on the pitch at Anfield on 19/5 would be the absolute best way for him to go out.

That’s fine but why a post on something.

It’s a bit cheap for us sorry and it is open to embarrassment.

Could have also gone in our season post. I assume the club might do a farewell regardless mind you might be hard to get tickets for that.

You should, before the hotel prices go through the roof.

I don’t know where to book, which part of the city.
Any tips on where to book?

There’s so many hotels to chose from and it depends how much you want to spend. If you just want a Premier Inn, there’s a decent one on Hanover Street, there’s also a Novotel on the same street. They’re only a 5 minute walk from Lime Street station. If you want to spend a bit more, there’s a Marriott hotel by St George’s Hall, again very handy for Lime Street. Of course, there are many more options throughout the city centre and down by the Pier Head.
Don’t even consider staying at the Adelphi Hotel, it’s a dump.

The Novotel on Hanover Street isn’t too bad.

Thank you soo much. I don’t mind paying. I just want to be nearby to say goodbye.
I am wondering where the parade route goes through. I remember it was a good 15 minute walk from Lime Street station to LiverpoolOne and the waterfront.

Might do a trip like in 2022 for the parade, trophies or no trophies, whatever.

I guess there will be one even if we only win the League Cup.

If not, then I guess the only goodbyes will be at Anfield.

Hanover Street is few minutes walk from the waterfront. John Lewis and Liverpool One are at the end of the road.

Thanks WooltonRed. I do have a family friend who has recently moved to Chester, that is my last option. I would rather be in the thick of it though.

If you want to be right on the waterfront, then you need to look at the Hilton, the Crown Plaza, the Malmaison or the Hampton.
