We’re committing the men forward we’re just not really “committing”. It’s making it relatively easy for them to create and find a spare man. On the one that hit the post it wasn’t the long ball into Rodgers that hurt us, but their ability to find the free guy on the edge of their box as he just should not have free

Might have been guilty of buying that Grav was a true #6 when he schooled Casemiro and we went on to win the PL? He’s an excellent progressor of the ball and finds space well, tackles well enough, and had the most interceptions in the League last year if I am not wrong, so he ticks most of the boxes of a theoretical 6. Regardless, he’s been far from the most culpable recently.

Our passing is so off. In pre season we were fluid and passed the ball around with pace. Now we are the opposite. Deeply worrying
