Liverpool v Villa : Saturday November 1 , 20:00

I don’t have a good feeling about it either, and normally I’m always someone who sees the glass as half full. Speaking of glass… I should probably start preparing for emergencies. :wine_glass:

So we rested Wirtz in midweek to put him on bench.
Macillister who has stank the place out all season starts.
Slots losing it.

Livvy darling what do you mean emergencies?

It’s always wine o’ clock!

Completely lost why Wirtz is being made a scapegoat to go back to our old shape and midfield which hasn’t performed this season.

But hey ho, prove me wrong and get the 3 points.

Was hoping they had spent the week building a system around Wirtz

Middle will be interesting…half fit Grav and Mac - the man with no legs.

This is now a side that is last year’s title winning side minus a change at goalie and a new striker, one who hit the ground running and plays in a style that should be easy to accommodate. It’s an interesting set of choices Given the arguments about the changes needing time to bed in

Ditto. I just don’t get it.

First time im beginning to doubt Slot.
He has a real talent here yet don’t know how to use him.
Lose tonight and things will turn ugly.

Thats fine but Gravs half fit and Mac has no legs…

My only emergency is the only wine I have in the house is too nice to drink under these circumstance. This is more of a box wine situation than a Châteauneuf-du-Pape

But we have tried this team twice this season and lost both.

My main issues have been it is the existing players from last season that have been way below their best, Mo, Macca, Ibou, Cody and even Virg in the last couple of games.

Gonna be a rough night this.

Why does Maca have to play again? He didn’t have a break like the others and he’s in bad form. I don’t understand the logic. Do we want to play more defensively, and that’s why Robbo and Bradley are playing too?

Points are obviously important, but what I really want to see is some cohesion, defensive intensity and attacking fluidity. I was nervous not seeing much of that to start the season, wins notwithstanding. Fluking a win will ease some pressure, but is really just an escape valve rather than genuine progress.

Is a penis a geometric shape?

Even if we get it what does it mean about progress and sustainability if it’s been achieved without the new pieces we’ve been told we need to give to time for them to bed in?

I’d be fine with that if it was Wirtz for Maca. Suppose Wirtz gives you something off the bench as Chiesa will only get 10 minutes.

If he needs a change at right back hopefully he will put Gomez on.

A win tonight and we could be top 3.
