Goooooooooooooooooooooal!
Stewart from 25 yards, top corner. Hattrick.
Yes, without a doubt.

4-0 Liverpool - Stewart
Balagizi turned in midfield, fed Stewart who cuts in on his right foot and fires into the top corner from 18 yards.
Just knocking it round them now, fast one touch stuff nearly made it 5-0 but Corness shot narrowly wide.
Woltman on for Balagizi now.
Balagizi hasnāt quite grown into his body yet, looks a bit like Tom Hanks in Big, a kid in a manās body. When he figures out he actually is bigger and stronger than all these 18 yr olds heāll be exciting to watch (more exciting)
I hope he doesnāt figure it out too soon. Reliance on physical characteristics destroys prospects, you simply canāt cruise through games on your size and then switch the technical ability back on when you get to the first team.
5-0 Liverpool - Corness
Ridiculous. Second direct corner of the game by Corness. The keeper is fucking terrible to be honest.
No arguments, heās there on technical ability, but like so many before him, doesnāt look like physical limitations will hold him back.
Oh man, that poor goalie. Second corner.
Nearly 6-0, Woltman hit the crossbar and it cannoned back down onto the goalline.
Full Time
Liverpool 5-0 Stoke
Stewart X3, Corness x2
Excellent all around performance. Stewart was too quick and clever for Stoke while Corness scored two direct corner kicks. Stoke not as good as they normally are at this level.
James Balagizi was the best player but Tyler Morton, Luca Stephenson, James Chambers and Jarell Quansah also impressed.
Morton looks a tidy player as well in possession (the #8ā¦i think thatās him). Clever player.
Any reason why Woodburns been playing in the midfield 3? Wouldnāt he have been better as a part of the front 3?
Quansah and Jonas look like the best centre backs the club have produced for a while. If Iām being honest most of the ones over the last 10 years or so have been either really poor or just clearly not Liverpool standard, the early signs are that these two have a lot more to their game. Obviously need to see them against better opposition but so far so good.
He is. Just like Cain, Clarkson and seemingly Corness he has a really good range of passing. Maybe not the most athletic group of players but you canāt fault them technically.
Woodburn doesnāt really have the pace of physicality to play in a front 3. If he reaches his potential he could be a decent goalscoring ā8ā for a lower league side. Itās a bit of a shame watching him now though, heās lost a lot of confidence.

Pearce mentions Glatzel in this paragraphā¦
Iād be surprised if Origi and Brewster both left. Depends what offers are forthcoming. High hopes for Glatzel but heās currently injured again (minor issue) after missing a full season so one for the longer term. Not aware of anything on Doku.
Some good finishes by Stewart and Corness in the U18ās 5-0 win against Stoke, pretty mad seeing Corness score 2 straight from a corner in the same game, you donāt see them very often.
Is Yasser Larouci still an LFC player ? I know he made it clear he wanted to leave and I understood there was some interest in him but I see he is still listed on the club web site as an academy player despite not being involved with the U23 squad in any pre season activities.
Yes, hasnāt left yet. Norwich wanted him but refused to pay Ā£2m - Brentford were last club I saw linked.
His case is very interesting. Made it clear very early that he wants to leave, nothing happened in all these weeks.
Anyone know whatās happend to that Musialowski kid? Havenāt seen much of him since the pre season games? Is he injured? Looked very good from the highlights i saw?
Not injured but also not fully fit, will be playing for the 18s in the next couple of weeks.
