One of the common argument from City fans who wont take their heads out of their arses is these rules were put in place specific to target them and therefore arent fair. Yes, fuckos. One of the knock on effects of allowing a sovereign wealth fund to buy a club was more regulation focused on preventing the damage of artificially inflating a club’s earnings by pumping SWF money into it. Those rules were put in place because we knew you were going to do it. And you proved us all right by doing it anyway. This is not a winning moral argument.

Yes, its the people who found us committing historical levels of cheating who are bringing the game into disrepute with their corruption. Not the SWF whose owners are threatening diplomatic sanctions against our country if government does not lean on the league to go easy on them.

I can’t overstate how important it is to keep this front-of-page, for JK’s sake.
That team he built which won the title and finished 2nd twice was quite simply the greatest team this country has ever seen when you factor in legitimacy.
It was built within the prevailing financial rules, didn’t resort to dark-arts and shithousery and refused to buckle at a time when corrupt officials fucked us over at every opportunity.
The greatest team this country has ever seen, bar none.

I don’t expect any titles to be awarded to anyone finishing 2nd, but if it were to happen they absolutely must take the more recent seasons into account.
Everything they have ‘won’ up to the present date is tainted and built on cheating. There can be no cut-off point in that situation.

yes but it cuts both ways…what elite level talent would willingly choose them with this hanging over them?..im not suggesting they cant buy players, who will chase that dollar, im suggesting a Haaland level footballer, with options, will probably say no…as would a few others…
the coaching set up, the back room staff…
not to mention parents with kids choosing a team…
