Manchester City* - 130 charges (and counting...) (Part 1)

Do they have that many out injured??

Beyond Mendy (see @Kopstars above post) and Laporte (suspended), the injured players are;

Torres, De Bruyne, Grealish and Foden. Both Grealish and Foden are likely to be able to play some part this week.

That leaves Pep with (outfield players);

Defenders - Cancelo, Dias, Walker, Stones, Ake, Zinchenko - then some kids
Midfielders - Bernardo, Gundogan, Rodri, Mahrez, Sterling, Fernadinho - then some kids (inc Palmer)
Up front - Jesus - their own fault really.

We’ve had issues not to dissimilar this year, and Klopp’s not had a cry. Last year we had much worst - where was Pep then…telling us to get on with it…

Lay down the law. If there is any more of this sort of thing the end of season bunga bunga with flown in Instagram models is cancelled.

Considering that is all they have up front anyhow it’s not particularly stark.

Pep me oldefruit…buckle down, you’ve got subs, under 23 teams…as I said those who are registered to play…get em on that field and play…every other team with injuries has to make do and mend…so stop whingeing and get on with it…you whiney git.

I thought they had 37 full backs? They’re all players right?

Man City currently have 36 players out on loan.

Yup like Chelsea they basically buy up tonnes of promising youngsters from across the world and Let them rot forever on loan before selling them.

Needs to be called out more for what it is but it isn’t

You can’t spend well in excess of a billion, reported, plus other monies not fully above board, and cheat your arse around FFP… and THEN claim you can’t cope with a couple of garden variety, normal injuries.

Pep is a whiner. And he is likely paving the way, in a PR sort of manner, for more largesse in the transfer market, as he can rely on the press to give him a free pass.

Could also be setting the scene for a great ā€˜comeback’ should they win the league this season :thinking:

Be great if Stevie can get something tonight. And you know in your heart that he’d be fucking delighted for us if he can :+1:t2:

I see nothing different to what most managers say when they have players missing.

Agreed
Most managers dont have a team of international footballers in reserve though. Most managers dont have owners that throw millions at him in contravention of the rules either.

He isn’t typical of most managers so he should shut up his fucking whining.

I’m surprised that Pep hasn’t tried to blame us somehow.

Maybe there’s a post on Blue Loon where they think that someone from LFC has laid the turf at their training ground and added a load of trip hazards

What Pep has achieved at City is nothing short of miraculous especially as he is effectively working with one hand tied behind his back.

He’s only had just shy of a billion pounds to spend.
