Manchester City* - 130 charges (and counting...)

Lucas Moura / Son / Lautauro would be a frightening front 3 assuming the last chap does join Tottenham.

If you shoved it up his butt he would never be able to find the cheque book.

In 12 months he has a release clause which would drop his price by half. Money saved on trasfer fee can then be negotiated to higher wage/signing on bonus/agent fee so Haaland has no reason to leave this summer when he and the slimeball Riola know that next summer they hit their payday

They are apparently trying to get him to sign a new contract that would increase his wages and move his release clause until the following summer at a higher price.

Pep trying a new stimulant?
Maybe like he calls them ‘tittles’ he thinks ‘stones’ means something different? What a little cunt.

This made me laugh… From today’s BBC gossip column:

Manchester City would be keen on Barcelona 's young Spanish midfielder Ilaix Moriba, but only if they could sign the 18-year-old on a free transfer. (Mundo Deportivo - in Spanish)

Pleading poverty now? I know Barcelona are badly run, but they’re not that stupid.

This is comical.

So sad this is what they’ve become known for given they were pulling in attendances of over 25,000 when they were briefly in the third tier in the late 90s.

Always full for their two cup finals anyhoo: Us and the manure

Just like Goodison Park.

No, no, it was sold out. Every ticket was sold. It’s just that one guy bought most of them and he couldn’t make it because he was in Abu Dhabi.

If they made the seats 3 times as wide as they are now…
They may have a chance of selling every ticket :0)

Haven’t they just erected even more Etihad sponsorship signs in the place of seats recently?

Middling club. That’s the reality.

Bought by Abu Dhabi and handed everything on a plate since then. But it is a poisoned chalice as there’s no real love or respect for them. This is manifest in the empty blue seats at the Emptihad.

Compare/contrast with us. I will go back to the sixties, when Shanks started whipping us into shape. Up from the old second division and legends were made. Success came along, and it was sustained by Bob, Joe, Kenny. Then tragedy hit. (It’s an gross understatement to say just three words, but the point of the post is not to cover all the details.)

We slipped back a bit, and while never falling so far as to be irrelevant, there was a sense for a while that we were good, but not quite good enough, so we were on the edge of the big time, even though we had some great players and winning moments along the way. Rafa brought us old big ears, we nearly went bust under G&H, Brendan went close to the title, and now Jurgen is at the helm and we wouldn’t swap him for anyone.

We have already won the lot with him, and now we are in the middle of seeing if multiple league titles are possible, even against financially doped outfits.

All this is to say that it has all been a struggle. In the best sense of the word. Blood, sweat, tears, progress, setback, tragedy, progress, etc.

It’s the sort of stuff that wins hearts. It’s why it’s so hard to get a ticket!

It was all given to Man City, and one of the byproducts of that is even their own fans are so blasé that they can’t be bothered to show up in enough numbers to cheer the team on.

Plastic frauds.
