I am delighted that the 115 charges are being talked about more openly, but more needs to happen. I havenāt heard a well known pundit use their platform on tv to say that the 115 charges only take us up what is known about their finances to 2018, and many of Man Cityās titles have come after that time.
115 charges is probably not even the half of it.

Hasnāt he done this before? āIāll leave next year at the end of my contractā. Then promptly signs another one for even more kilos of powder and promises of larger bribes to refs. Heās just looking for attention now that the press have lost interest in his ridiculous sweaters/gear from his wife(?).

My hope, if he is going to go after one more season, is that by the time he leaves, everything is discredited. Preferably titles stripped and relegation.
When all the charges broke he said he believed his bosses at the club and that they would be found innocent. Butā¦ if not, he would leave. Perhaps this is a signal he knows the illicit game is up?
More likely it just the end of a cycle as he has been there a while, but I believe the collective indifference is eating away at him. During his career he has experienced legitimate peaks, and what he has at Man City is far removed. He must know the difference.
Their own fans donāt care, as they canāt sell out the stadium even with cheap tickets to students. Their own fans donāt care as they canāt even turn out for a parade, and the sparse attendance makes them look pathetic, as itās right there on view for everyone to see.
Guardiola is bought and paid for, but there must be a residue of a proud sportsman that he still retains, and no amount of riches, or illegitimate trophies, will make up for it.
I still think the outcome rests on a knife edge, as Abu Dhabi is pumping billions into the economy so the ramifications, unfortunately, go beyond the integrity of the sport itself.
But I retain some hope that they will be dealt with, thoroughly. It might be misplaced, but weāll see.

Yes. Their CEO wrote a book 20 years ago about how football was lacking in effective executive training pipelines and proposed the multi club model as a way to address that.

Surely, you are innocent until proven guilty and that MC115 should follow the due process and they have nothing to hide.
To me, they sound a little on edge so they will strike first and maybe they are trying to scare the EPL.
