I’m actually of the opinion that he was saying, Rack up two, one for each nostril.
On the debate regarding what penalty/sanctions should be inflicted upon the Cheaters… As a fan of LFC, and the way Jurgen and the boys lost out so many times because of them, it would be good to see them thrown out altogether… but we know nothing like that is going to happen eh.
Got me thinking as to whether the PL will see this as an opportunity to make themselves rich in this process. As in a points deduction that won’t really harm them beyond a season or so, but land them with a humongous fine, that I presume, would go into their own coffers…!!
A sort of ‘hard shit’ attitude to the clubs that have lost out on the glory that should have been theirs… but let us use this scenario to take care of ourselves (PL), first and foremost…
We watch with interest
The Premier League literally is the clubs. They aren’t their own entity.
And the messaging from them seems to be that they will not let this one go.
Not me it doesn’t
I hadn’t thought of that , but yeah those conniving cunts might be happy to just let this season go and then it’s back to normal cheating business next season.
Anyone got any idea why that whining cunt was haranguing the Brighton defender after the final whistle ?
He had a little tussle with Haaland at the end of the game and Haaland got booked.
How about Hog & Muck?
This feels what will happen.
They won’t be hit by a club ending fine and points deduction but if they lose to us them losing 21pts say won’t bother them.
hey something as a side note…
lets just say the club implodes, and Abu Dhabi have to exit, whilst keeping thier other assets…
i wonder if on a blance sheet they still come out infront, once you factor in the political influence in the area etc etc…
as in, at what point do they get out and leave the shell oif a club and call it a successful operation?
i very much doubt they need to sell it for 10 squillion pounds, they have the prestige, the track record and whatever value remains in the players and youth set up…
they could claim it was all a racist conspiracy and head over to …say…Girona … and do it all over again in a league that has more growth oppurtunities…
its a very interesting take…
im imagining if they got relegated, and took a hit on the value of the club as they exited, they still will have achieved what they set out to do, and made a packet on the side…
Yeah the point is to swap oil revenues for soft power. They don’t care about making a financial return - it’s stuff like having their country seen in a positive light; getting a seat at the table and being able to ultimately use the club as leverage that they want. A successful club buys them access. There’s an interesting angle that, while they may be prepared to use some political capital trying to make this all go away and retain the cheaty ‘brand’, if it is too costly reputationally to wash the stain away then they would surely walk away. Unfortunately I can’t see anything even close to enough pressure being applied for this to happen.
This really is going to get messy, isn’t it. The question is, who would they sue? City (or their owners), or the Premier League?
You’ve been following Trump too long
But yes.
