I’ve usually no time for Johnson, but I found his latest statement rather interesting:

Boris making a scene about giving money/‘support’ to war in Ukraine every time he fucks up is an example of toxic masculinity
Someone told him it’s a buzzword for appealing to female voters.
I would normally disagree with Boris, but Putin does represent a particularly deranged form of hyper-masculinity.
Why insert gender into it. He’s just another deranged individual that is a relic from a (now almost) forgotten war that never was. Unlike Boris, I am of the opinion that power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely - whether it a man there or a woman, or anyone in-between, is merely an accident of circumstance.
