Really dislike it when peeps make blanket negative comments about players without understanding or recognizing the full context, or balancing the good and the bad.
Our equalizer yesterday came from his counterpress upfield. But you wouldn’t know that from the avalanche of negative comments…

However, he still needs to improve on the ball and his delivery when crossing.
Saying that I always thought Robbo was a weak point in our build up play and teams, like Arsenal used to press and trap us down our left.
On the right theres also Jacquet who helps a lot more than VVD and when Munoz plays over there he gets back as an extra body, something you don’t see on the left. On the left your help is Wirtz.
I think most young right backs would struggle.
I really think defensively he’s doing much better than some are making out. Often it looks like his instructions are wrong which get corrected at half time. He needs to make those decisions during the match with VVD.
Seems to me VVD doesn’t like changing instructions on the pitch, unless it’s us chasing the game when he goes up top for some reason.
Robbo was useless at keeping the defensive line and playing offside
