Next Liverpool Head Coach

Maybe Chiesa will be good once he doesn’t look like he just polished off a carbonera, full tiramasu and a bottle of red whenever he comes on.

In all seriousness, one thing that has crossed my mind in all this, after the players all supported Salah’s call for a more intense approach is ‘careful what you wish for lads’. Iraola isn’t going to let them spend half their week flouncing round Europe in casual wear.

Did you guys notice how shocked people in Brazil were recently when they saw Alisson in training again after such a long time? Okay, maybe his shirt was a size too small, but he definitely has put on quite a bit of extra weight by now. Something was definitely not right with us.

I need to take a look at the pictures. They were extremely unflattering, and the comments were cruel.

Edit

I found these photos and posted them in Ali’s thread.

End of the day they are professional footballers if they want to win they will have to put the hard yards in.

I do think it’s standards slipping, Kerkez will have been able to describe what the situation is with Iraola if it is him.

Everyone is linking Iraola. But I’m waiting for news about their interest in Enrique. Sacking Slot right before the European final is very interesting timing, and I’m wondering if they received indications from Enrique’s camp that he’s interested, and that triggered their move to sack Slot now.

Yup the timing for me seems slightly hmm. Then again as someone said it wouldn’t be announced yesterday due to the Heysel tribute.

And anyone who doesn’t fancy the hard yards and wants extra days off and European day trips every week can join Slot on the job market as far as I’m concerned.

Time to get back to pushing the train, not riding it!

Just hope the players are up to this effort still and show willingness, but the difference is games every 3/4 days.

Now, is Luis Enrique available to manage in EPL?

Contract up in 2027.

Does Alonso have an escape clause in his Chelsea contract like he had at Leverkusen?

That would be hilarious :joy:

He has won all he needs to in that Farmer’s League, why waste time there.

We have the money, FSG are abit stingy at times.

Well, if he is too strict, then the players will not take that either, especially toilet breaks

He also has a chance to win three CLs in a row with all that backing. I don’t know, seems too pie in the sky to see him here unfortunately.
