Read an article by Brian Read in the Mirror who mentioned that quite a few of the stranded supporters were helped by local people with either to stay at their home or getting a lift to another place to get a train back and when they offered to pay them they were told to give the money to the Liverpool foundation!

Didn’t he do something on the 2019 parade after running into Robbo on the way back from Madrid? He mentioned on the LFC parade stream. Robbo requested him that time. And this time Big Virg went “You’re doing this” and he was like I ain’t arguing with our captain!
