Spritely, great pressing, and though the often-overhit passing didnât always find its target, the ideas were there and were good ones.Managed to get a shot off on goal that David Raya couldnât handle, but Cody Gakpo was offside on the follow-up. Hit another shot really well, but it was blocked before it could reach the goal.
Promising again, but not quite at full flow yet, following these physical fixtures at the start of the season. Things should get easier for him.
So good, but not outstanding. I thought there were definite improvements in his game. Itâs still early days, so he isnât going to be completely settled yet. He needs to build an understanding with his teammates as to where they will be, and where they want him to be. That takes time.
He went off with cramp towards the end, and Slot commented that he is experiencing the intense physical side of the league.

Thought it was a great game, aided by a few beers. Tough first half blossomed into a dominant second. Sublime free kick from Sobs sealed the deal. Fantastic entertainment.

Dominik Szoboszlai are the best player at Hungary national team, because he plays for LFC.

Three points, superb!
Arsenal had the better of the first half. We had much the better of the second half and looked like we were the only ones trying to do something and win.
Incredible free kick. Such a good hit. Pace, power, dip, swerve, accuracy. To beat a world class goalie from that far out is something special.
As such I will give Dom my motm.
Second place goes to Kerkez. He had a very good game against a tricky customer in Madueke. We have been leaky at the back since the start of the season as the unit needs to gel. Today was a big step. Kerkez, well done lad.
Third place goes to Van Dijk. Marshaled the defence and did his own job with aplomb.
Early days, and we are going to play better as we go. But it is a perfect record, nine from nine, going into the international break. In all likelihood we have another signing or two coming in, and hopefully the rest of the Premier League is looking at all of that and going, âOh shit, feckin Scousers.â

Dom was absolutely everything and everywhere today.
Kerkez much improved defensively.
Konate also much improved until the seemingly inevitable muscle injury (or hopefully just cramp). Whatever it was, it earned Crystal Palace another 5 mill on the fee for Guehi.
Joe Gomez, though, was I thought just about perfect when he came on.
Also, we looked improved once Jones came on, and somehow Wirtz also started playing better in combo with Jones.
I think once we have all these new players bedded in, weâre gonna be very very hard to beat.
