is he trying to be a Bobby-lite? a fake 9?
So when West Ham beat Shity and go level with them on points, does that turn it into a 2 horse race or a 4 horse race?
Asking for a deluded West Ham mate
It is really hard to say, particularly when we don’t know how much of that is tactical instruction, and how much is just Kane wanting the ball more. Certainly, he isn’t making the back post runs after the pass that Firmino does. Kane seems to follow his pass more, like he is hoping that it comes back to him in that 20-25 yard area left of the keeper that he thrives in.
The does not surprise me, the BBC are forever writing new articles to keep their pundits relevant and elevate them to levels above their actual talents.
Richards was not a good player.
There are at least 10 full backs currently playing in the premier league better than he is. We’ve got 3. City have 2. United have 1. Chelsea probably have 3 or 4. West Ham arguably have 2. Even Everton have 2.
I think that was how he was playing for England in the Euro’s. I thought he may have been doing the same for Mourinho last season too?
Nuno is struggling to have a positive impact on Spurs. Perhaps he needs this season and then a summer window, perhaps he is already a failure and will never succeed. A bit hard to say, but it is looking a bit grim for him as well, although Solskjær does of course take the headlines after their catastrophic season start. But really, Spurs have not started well either. Cheaper squad though (compared to MU), there is that.
You missed the Stig off that list too.
I’m torn on the job Nuno is doing.
The “eye test” says they haven’t played great football, but there they are in the table really one win away from being in the Top 4 mix. Conversely, one loss away from being in that jumbled 7-12 mix.
Yeah, agreed that it is too early to judge. But they haven’t played convincing in any games yet, which is kind of what I meant.
EL SACKICO
A 0-0 draw would be fine and then an improbable win against Man City which keeps him in the job until Spring
I cant see Nuno getting the sack so soon, especially seeing as they aren’t far off battling for 4th spot.
There’s been so much analysis of our match. We’ve basically told Nuno how to set up against the scum and told Ole what not to do again. It’s intriguing what will happen next
If Ole gets some results here it’s even better as if he reverts to form in December they will have to sack him in a really awkward period.
The thing is, anyone with half a brain wouldhave seen their first half against Atalanta and thought - there is no way you can set up like that against Liverpool and not expect to concede 4-5 before half time.
So what does Ole the genius do? Sets up exactly the same way thinking that he knows better than everyone else in the world of football
I said it would give them a false sense of security it was the perfect thing to happen. Ole is so egotistical
I think the thing that I find funny is that after the game it was said how confident they were that they had a great plan to handle us - but there was no evidence of that from the game itself.
