Premier League 2021/22 (Part 1)

Rudiger would carry a switchblade if he could

I think it was a career mistake for him to stay at ManU with such an incoherent structure - his prime development years have been used to prop up Mourinho and Solksjaer’s different and often incoherent styles of play, and often out of position.

Leipzig is already down 0-2, and I thought they’d come out with a little more fire.

So that match won’t be any more compelling.

There is a French match or Cadiz in Spain…

I’m a bit spoiled and the others don’t have Martin Tyler

Such a soft yellow for McTominay. United much better organized defensively. Still making mistakes, but have two or three players reacting to mop up. Chief difference I see.

Odd without their 80m superstar defender isn’t it

What does Loftus-Cheek do?

Wow my internet died for last twenty minutes and its still nil nil. Now only thing thats needed is for De Gea to have a worldie and Ronny to channel his inner Solskjaer after he gets subbed on.

Tuchel is allowing Rudiger to unleash his inner bastard. He absolutely adores the player and has given him full license to express himself. It’s been an extreme career renaissance for Rudiger. From seldom to playing under Frank and asking his agent to find a move, to being the first name on the team sheet under Tuchel and permitted to play a roughshod style and wreck the opposition with impunity.

EDIT: I will say this however, as a native Berliner it is nice to see Rudiger excelling. He played for both Tasmania and Neukölln at youth level.

So far so good … for us. If Chelsea score it’s curtains. Utd doing nothing going forward. Is Jordan Sancho any better than Daniel James ?

They massively miss Kante don’t they?

You can see why Ronaldo is on the bench  he’s useless in his own half.

yeah but Loftus-Cheek just sort of plod around - almost nothing goes through him and he doesn’t seem to try and get the ball back either…

so he’ll probably set up 2 goals and score a hattrick

Quote of the day.

I see ! Well better luck next time!

Not watching it and looks like not missing much, still 0-0. I don’t recollect any Utd-Chelsea game being entertaining ever. Boring as fck always. Time for my bed, so may give it 5-10 minute watch to help my cause.

If they’re going to be this poor, they might as well put on Ronaldo

This is a bit of a role reversal though, traditionally it is Chelsea making it really dull by playing defensively.
