Premier League 2021/22 (Part 1)

Jurgen could’ve/should’ve went full strength vs Leicester, imagine the reactions…

:joy:

But yeah, chaotic times.

Anyhow another game falls foul… so much for festive football goes ahead it looks a mess

Burnley v Everton is postponed. Another team taking advantage of the current situation.

Nah, that is aesthetic. This is a hard enough Christmas period without having to watch Burnley play Everton.

The Premier League has declined to comment and BBC Sport has been told Spurs boss Conte did not contribute to any discussions within the meeting.

Well we know who the brick wall was now

Who blinks first in a strike?

  1. The PL having to pay back TV revenues back to sponsor’s? (You just know they have something like that in the contracts).

  2. The owner’s that also rely on the above, and gate receipts, etc.

  3. The players that have huge contracts.

  4. The players that have lower paying contracts (fringe players, smaller teams, etc).

I dont think I can remember a player strike in he PL. This type of thing seems to happen a lot in the NBA, NHL, MLB. It’s annoying for the fans.

This was just posted by the clubs official Facebook account.

If this is from today then Virgil, Fab and Curtis are back in training.

Brentford match shifted to accommodate the Semis.

Jan now looks like this;

Sunday 2 Jan - Chelsea (A) - PL
Thursday 6 Jan - Arsenal (A) - LC Semi 1st Leg
Sunday 9 Jan - Shrewsbury (H) - FA Cup
Thursday 13 Jan - Arsenal (H) - LC Semi 2nd Leg
Sunday 16 Jan - Brentford (H) - PL
Sunday 23 Jan - Crystal Palace (A) - PL

Sundays and Thursdays it is!

Fucking madness.

Feels like the good old Europa League days

Do these teams have to ‘prove’ they’ve got the lurgy…and also that they haven’t got enough players, or is it just PL reliant on reports from team docs.

TAA and whoever standing behind Taki looked thrilled. :face_with_raised_eyebrow:

Bit odd that they need to shift them to Thursdays.

Good to see Virgil, Fabinho and Jones back in training. :clap:t6:

No idea, it’s just a bit suspicious to me. Everton and Leeds both have injuries, then suddenly they’re infected with Covid.

Not sure what Conte is moaning about, he had a 2 week break
