Premier League 2021/22 (Part 1)

One I can have in the background while reading.

There doing nothing for me

Have to say it does add to games like this the crowd, as the soul destroying aspect of a lack of crowd when they showed these games last season.

I developed serious apathy to the game last season that really extended back into the previous season. I dont know how much was the crowd per se, and how much was that by that point the title was already a processional and the games almost meaningless. Waiting to see if the return of the crowds do anything for me.

Ive liked our games so far at least.

Brighton one up…. Suppose you couldn’t place it better though mm away from it being crap.

Meanwhile I see no one has gone after Schick at Leverkusen

Deffo feel a bit more like actually watching it though I only saw us, Spurs and that awful Championship game last week, even being awful it still seemed more watchable than most games the season before.

It interested me at first but as it dragged on it got worse, can’t beat the sound of the net bulging say from the Mane goal today and the crowd cheer that goes with it.

On reflection I think it was just a bit crap and I don’t think I’ll ever reflect it was anything but a sanitised season.

Gutted we won it under those conditions but glad we had that period into it that it was obvious it was won and the fact that we won it the weekend before lockdown, if this season doesn’t see a full return to restrictions it will be evidently better for it and preferable to the season before.

Ah I wasn’t aware Watford had a new manager, he resembles TJ Perkins the wrestler a bit.

Yeah, “I didn’t know Watford had a new manager”must be one of the most overused phrases in football.

Mess by Watford, Brighton 2-0

Doubt TJP is lasting long.

Watching the Brighton Watford match for Sarr. Well, he must have sent his 50-year-old brother because this one will have a tough time getting a starting spot in the Liverpool U23.

Yeah, he hasn’t looked good. Just looks like one of those matches where one team brought all the energy. Watford have looked befuddled thus far. Low T.

How’s Lallana doing?

Brighton could go top still

Shout out to Ings for his highlight reel bicycle kick goal today. Much more impressive than the Grealish oh-it-bounced-off-me goal. Go Danny!

Showed some nice creativity in the first half when Brighton were more on the front foot. Good link-up play. Didn’t notice him as much in the second half.

Nice to be top for the evening anyhow.

I feel about Brighton the same way most feel about Burnley. Potter is oddly beloved and massively overrated.

I dunno he seems pleasant enough, he isn’t clapping like a deranged seal with an anger management problem every five seconds.

The act from Dyche and I feel that’s exactly what it is is a bit old hat now.

Difference is that when we play Brighton I don’t fear that our players are in danger of hospitalization

Not sure where to post this but… It’s funny to watch opposition fans say Trent can’t defend and then see those fanbases getting excited about potential moves for Max Aarons.

Aarons may well be the least interested “defender” I’ve ever seen. Look at his effort for Liverpool’s 2nd last week as a great example.
