Coutinho might be like Lingard was for West Ham. If they win this and their two in hand they’re only 5points off 4th with 1/3 of the season to play. Doubt they’ll get CL football but Europe not an impossible aim. Would be one hell of an opening season from Gerrard if he lifts them from looking at relegation to in Europe.

Villa’s defence is all over the place tonight.

If his back holds up he will do well for them.
Leeds we’re a bit unlucky in that they could’ve been 2-0 up, just before Villa scored. However, defensively they are terrible.
Love watching Leeds they have always been poor defensively.
With all the knee slides celebration damaging the pitch at the Villa’s match, the grounds keeper may put a bit more grit near the corner flags to discourage such behaviour. 
I did my knee in once doing that never again, though as a goalie I don’t get to join celebrations much but I had gone for a corner.
