Premier League 2021/22 (Part 1)

But very fun. I actually blinked when I saw that result. A classic case of Spurs walking on clouds before the clouds evaporate, with the unfortunate consequence of Spurs falling, like always, to the ground

Is the LEI not a penalty? It didn’t look like Walker got the ball before man.

Hesgoal my normal go to stream is down

Haha, Allardyce is at OT scouting his next assignment (not Newcastle).

I find stuff here that works well enough for me to watch a game on a buss.

Have any other players had their first touches for a team recorded for posterity by the BBC?

Fucking ridiculous.

Peacock in the U.S. is almost worse than Hesgoal. Tried to call up the LC-MC match. Just get a twirling circle, and I’m paying for it!

30 min gone in all games, and all games, 0-0 !

Paul Merson on soccer Saturday is nearly creaming his pants over Ronaldo.

An impossibility for either Arsenal or Norwich to remain with zero points after this match, though if there were a way, both would manage it.

Tbh I don’t find it so strange. Ronaldo and Messi has a special status. Imo, that’s okay and it doesn’t bother me much. They have played on an exceptional level for so many years that I just accept that they will be the topic of both intelligent and very unintelligent, football talk

Crap then from Willock. Joelinton wide open on the penalty spot and he blams it wide instead.

Not that I think Ronaldo will show us his best footie, I suspect those years are behind him. But he is probably still going to be dastardly good when in form, considering how well he takes care of his body. He is a Zlatan guy when it comes to physiology so can probably play on a very high level until around 40, if he wants to.

City looking so ordinary

Try ultra sports tv app.

I see Ederson is playing. I assume he was called up for Brazil so can I expect all our Brazilian guys to play no problem tomorrow (except Bobby who is injured)?

Good to know ! Let us hope they become impatient and press forward with a bit too much and too many. Leicester are damn good on those counters after all.

And technically they aren’t even his first touches.

He is very much in the phase of his career where he is managing his way through games - conserving energy, limiting his sprints, and asking others to do his work for him. What will take him to 40 is finding clubs willing to indulge this.

He’s obviously a wonderful player, but these days you might see it for 20mins a game rather than the 90 in his Real heyday.

There is a managerial decision to be made about whether you want to carry a footballer in the hope he’ll do something brilliant.
