No fight, no attack, no urge to win…

Seems impressive. Less so if you rephrase it as “they’ve beaten Arsenal and Spurs.”

They surely look good. My hope is how they respond to some crises which Tuchel hasn’t faced yet. Couple of losses, few injuries and we’ll know if they still maintain this levels. Currently they are better than City and United though.

Werner is still crap.

Eric Dier might be the shittest player in this league

And then there’s Timo Werner.

Timoooo, well at least he was onside.

Neither Spurs or Arsenal are top 6 this year.

Nah, Tom Davies.

Spurs need to be there or thereabouts at the end of the next transfer window or else you can expect a huge bid from City (depending where they are in PL and CL).

That’s the crises I am referring to… Having to play him.

He’s got an awfully funny run…very cartoon like.

To be honest Chelsea, City and us are looking miles ahead of the rest. Leicester lost again. United got away with one again. Arsenal are rancid. And Spurs look the same they do every year.

City have shafted themselves by not stumping up extra 30 million Levy wanted. If they come back in January they will be rinsed even more.

Spurs are probably the best club outside Liverpool, Chelsea, City and Manchester United. Arsenal far from great but still one of the better clubs in the league.

That was close to us sharing the top of the table.

I’m trying to not overstate their strength, but in searching for weaknesses that is possibly the biggest.

  • Mendy has been an important improvement, but even still Kepa is still far better than most team’s back up keeper so dont know that is really a liability
  • Tuchel looks to be doing a good job and I’ve been impressed with his game management. He is a bit a dick though and so there’s some small potential that he has a moment at some point in the season that affects the motivation of some of the players.

Other than that, it really is a case what do they do when Rom is out. Even that though means they’re left relying on a 60 or 80 million quid German internationals to step in to replace him.

I think the reality is this is a side without much weakness. I dont think they are capable of hitting the heights we are, but I do think that we’re going to have to hit those and maintain them to finish above them this year.
