I’d say it’s probably the other way around, that because you have that LFC perspective that you don’t rate him as much this season, but then as @GermanRed points out, he’s probably still ahead of his closest competitors.

Trent’s best is miles ahead of any right back’s form this season, including this season’s Trent’s form. I genuinely couldn’t say who the league’s best right back has been, there have been no particular stand outs for me.
