Chelsea will feel the pressure after being anointed “genuine title challengers” and bottle it at Goodison

Well let’s face it you wouldn’t rule out more points for them especially watching that attack yesterday.

I didn’t expect it, but well done Everton. They played at a similar level they play against us. It looked like they were fighting for their future. It won’t be wholesale change, but you would have to think over the next, say, three windows, half that side will change. The half that is jettisoned might never have another Premier League gig, or this might be as good as it gets for them, so they looked like they are fighting to stay on the gravy train to me.

Top of the league at Christmas. Two games in hand. I like the side Slot has picked. I like the options we have on the bench too.

Game on. (Oh, and I’m a bit pissed off with Mrs ROTW at the moment. She has invited people over for a Christmas brunch, and they are arriving at kick off time. I suspect I’m not going to be the best host :joy:)

Everton opened the door for us, time to step through. Great weekend if we can gain at least 2 points on every other contender bar Arsenal

Weird season. It’s not just City’s plight, but we now have Bournemoth as Forest’s closest challenger to a CL spot, and Brighton who a week ago were in the top 4 now down to 10th and with a chance to end the week in the bottom half of the table

You should ask @RedYank for advice. He excels at the art of escape and medical emergencies.

I’ve got the match on, the compromise is the volume has to be low so it is more background. Pah! I will have my eye on it. Here, have a waffle or a sausage or something. Help yourself to a mimosa. Game on!

Oddly, in the so-called Big Six, the record of the home side is 3-4-8.

Spurs have played three home matches against the other Big Six side and have lost all three. But they’ve won both of their away matches by a combined score of 7-0 against the two Manchester sides.

Also oddly, we are averaging 2.6 pts/match against the other Big Six sides but 2.4 pts/match against everyone else.
