Premier League 2024/25 (Part 1)

Amorim looks slightly paler

Pop psychology maybe, but from the moment that Chelsea were appointed as the primary title contenders they have won 1 point from 9. Possibly a coincidence, but they are young team with a manager who has never been there so worth considering.

“Haaland might have something to say about that”

No he doesn’t Jamie, Haaland is shit. Isak is a proper player. 10x the player that looney tune is.

Our coverage: “Could Amorim have done anything different to prevent that today?”

Anyone who thinks this was about what decision was made about today’s team selection I think is missing the forest for the trees. Sure, Casimiro and Erikson in a midfield 2 was always going to get badly outworked, especially against that Newcastle midfield, but that didnt cause the defenders to just not bother.

Robbie on whom United should keep: amad garnacho Bruno and the goalkeeper.

Good day for us. Chelsea lost. Man Utd lost. Love to see it.

I don’t want to get ahead of myself, because I still remember the best part of two decades when they beat us more often than not, but we really should be handing Man Utd the mother of all beatings on Sunday. I hope it all clicks for us, and that the finishing is sharp. It could be one for the ages.

Mind you, it’s tempting fate. Three points please. Keep this going.

They are now going through a list of players Amorim will want to keep.

  1. they are struggling to name players
  2. they resorted to naming Onana just to give him some numbers

:joy: :joy: :joy:  :skull_and_crossbones: :joy:

Howard on whom United should keep: the ones Robbie said. Robbie, whom did you say?

I’m genuinely surprised more teams haven’t targeted Martinez as a weak link due to his size and his short fuse.

Not funny, you don’t know what it’s like to always be thinking about how good stuff happening to you can actually backfire! Surely Arsenal win at Brentford now?!

In the post game wrap up John Champion is making fun of Lee Dixon for how angry he got watching Utd’s defending :joy:
