AFTV…‘we need five players’…

lol

If Arsenal stays at 2 points per game, that’s 76 for the season. We would need 32 from 20.

I’d be getting antsy with Arteta now if I were an Arsenal fan. I see some Arsenal fans saying we’d struggle at the Amex without Mo, which may or may not be true, but I get the feeling we’d at least try to attack regardless. Looks like he’s regressing as a coach. That Moyes influence is showing more and more.

Perhaps it doesn’t count, but we did beat them 3-2 away in the League Cup this season, with many of the same players for them featuring.

Salah was on the bench until 2-0 to us.

EDIT: In fact, if you think about it, in the 19 minutes he played he basically lost us the game, it was 2-1 to Brighton in that time. SELL.

Good to hear.

700M spent. Five years. One FA Cup.

He should be under scrutiny. Not under threat, at least not yet. But scrutiny is fair.

So Chelsea and Arsenal both drawing. Everton and Spurs both losing.

Happy days.

Time to the biz tomorrow afternoon.

That first title challenge they fell apart down the stretch, but for the first 32 games or so they were vibrant, relentless and incredibly impressive. They have increasingly walked away from that identity towards something far more cautious and it isnt helping them get closer to where they want to be. I think that is a slide that falls on the manager and is something he will need to turn around. But he will need to recognize it as a problem first whereas I feel he is more likely to double down on this direction.

Neither of them have been convincing. Makes sense that Maresca would try him out

Ipswich ahead of Everton in the table, one goal moves them up two in the table.

Fulham really struggling to create anything meaningful from all that possession, then the first time Ipswich enter their final third, goal. Horrendous clearance by Bassey.
