That would be wishful thinking from a Chelsea fan. They sold him in August 2023 for £3M, though I presume he has earned the £2M of add-ons by now

The article is actually a good read. The headline does no credit to the journalist, but I doubt he chose it himself. Journalists seldom do at the big papers such as the Guardian and the BBC.

I thought so too. It would appear however that some people are unwilling to look beyond a headline. A general scorn for journalists appears to be the typical reaction now to anything the reader might disagree with.

This was my thought.
There’s only one way to make them stay humble but remember that we’ve had it pretty rough against them since that FA Cup game three years ago. I can’t remember having a comfortable win against them since and that September defeat will be brought up many times in the build-up to the next game against them.
