Premier League 2024/25 (Part 1)

Four teams with a perfect start. That’s not a lot and it’s Brighton vs Arsenal on Saturday 12:30h.

They are also 2 of the 5 teams to not yet concede a goal.

Given the state of Brighton’s defending at times, Arsenal could start the season with three wins, two of them at grounds that have been pretty difficult for Liverpool in the last four years.

You weren’t referring to Brighton and Arsenal, were you? Because I have news for you…

Anyway. We’re not beating United. :slightly_frowning_face:

Nope. Totally shoulder.

  • On Sky Sports one of the commentators said that there’s no way you would get purchase on the ball the way the Bournemouth player did without it having struck your shoulder. Spot on! That should have been a dead giveaway.

  • that previous point is actually moot because the VAR guidelines clearly say that unless there’s a significant reason to overturn the onfield decision, the onfield decision should stand. This overturn was a complete violation of that principle.

As AN_L says, ignore me

How has Joelinton not received a straight red card for the way that he grabbed the Bournemouth goalkeeper around the neck and hauled him down to stop the counter-attack! It beggars belief!!

I’ve got an idea…

There was no need for Chelsea or Man Utd to sell but they bought players they don’t need.

Chelsea have problems? Yeah it’s because they are hoarding 3 teams on their books

But what about his unrealised capital gains???

Funny how it’s mainly the clubs that are spending beyond their means that have to do that, almost like there’s a moral in there somewhere…

Brighton will get caught out today. Partly because it’s Arsenal and also because their midfield will get exposed.

People rave about brighton but whenever i watch them they are garbage. Today so far is no different.
Their left back is getting murdered.

The scoreline with Everton flattered Brighton and they rode their luck with United.

Can’t help but think the manager is too raw and inexperienced for premier league

Saka goes down like a little bitch from one box to the other.

Needs to get booked.
