Not really. Last year, Burnley was 19th 8 points behind survival. This year, that gap is 17 points, almost double Leicester’s points. The year before, the gap was just 5. It has been years since 18th was out of touch with 17th.
I think it is partly a function of how tough the fight in the 4th-11th places is, those sides are not leaving much on the table for the last 5 or so.

Not sure why anyone expected it.
Anyhow win our game and Arsenal play Tuesday if they lose we win it then, if the draw we need a draw next Sunday if they win then we can beat their main rivals to win it.
