The gap between the bottom 3 and the rest is ridiculous. Donât think Iâve seen anything like it in the PL.

Not really. Last year, Burnley was 19th 8 points behind survival. This year, that gap is 17 points, almost double Leicesterâs points. The year before, the gap was just 5. It has been years since 18th was out of touch with 17th.
I think it is partly a function of how tough the fight in the 4th-11th places is, those sides are not leaving much on the table for the last 5 or so.
