Premier League 2024/25 (Part 2)

Lovely goal by Wissa. Forest finishing 7th.

Brentford have improved remarkably from last season.

Fully expected Forest to drop points tonight. But get beaten at home? :man_facepalming:t2:

Another top drawer performance by Nathan Collins, very impressed by him.

Their away form is outstanding

Hangover from losing the FA cup semi-final

Well this is supposed to be the rejuvenated Manchester City and yet Wolves are ripping them to pieces. Should be 2-0 up.

I was seriously impressed by this Wolves side. Apparently, since they changed the manager, they have the third-most points in PL. Puts that torturous PL game at Anfield into perspective in hindsight…

9 points in the first 16 games
32 points in the next 18 games

That form over a full 34 games would put them on 60 points, and potentially in the CL spots depending on GD.

I remember Jones getting a red card for a slightly similar tackle as this

Was it as good as this suggests?

I believe I will wallpaper my entire house with this! :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

I know I should be happy we won the league but…

Newcastle already won a trophy (against us) and likely to reach the CL.

Chelsea will also be back in the CL and are likely to win the ECL.

City likely to win the FA Cup after a shit season.

United likely to win the EL and sneak into the CL after being close to relegation zone all season.

I could somehow deal with all of that but the thought of Arsenal potentially winning the CL makes me sick :face_vomiting:

They were always a side which shouldn’t have been in the relegation battle.

Even in the earlier games , they played very good too.

For what looked for a long time like a league order being shaken up by well run upstarts, it is a bit depressing that it’s increasingly looking like Forest are going to drop out of the CL spots and Villa’s chase has petered out into nothing, leaving City, Chelsea and Newcastle to scoop them up. The end of the season is going to look nothing like what the story of the season was as it was ongoing.

Forest really needs LFC to put on a good showing versus Chelsea. Forest’s last game at home v. Chelsea could easily be one that decides at least 5th.

Don’t much like what Forest have become, but Chelsea..

Certainly not the margins, but the end result at the top definitely matches the story of the season…

Maybe Forest should have shown up on Thursday

I did see someone post that Moyes should be manager of the year. On a post where Rooney is asked.
