Premier League 2024/25 (Part 2)

Marmoush hat trick with an old fashioned pre-halaand city goal - get to the by line and cut back to a midfield runner hitting the box.

Bar Codes are utter shit

And yet they beat Arsenal twice.

That makes Arsenal even more shit.

But they’re still going to win every game until the end of the season.

Some interesting looking scores. Fulham just took the lead back against Forest with a wonderful header from Bassey. Ipswich went down to 10 men away to Villa and now have taken the lead

It is really looking like Forest’s high water mark was against LFC, that bizarre beating they handed Brighton notwithstanding. They look far more likely to be overtaken by City than putting pressure on Arsenal for 2nd.

I don’t know if you’re basing this off a wider picture, but Fulham are no easy opponent. So far this season they’ve beaten Chelsea away, drew with us at Anfield, and narrowly lost to City (3-2) away while beating Newcastle and Nottingham Forest away.

At Craven Cottage, they’ve also drawn with Arsenal, Bournemouth, and Chelsea, while beating Newcastle.

I don’t think losing to Fulham is a particularly poor result, but 2 of Forest’s 6 losses have come in the last 3 games. They scraped by Southampton, and got blown out by Bournemouth before that explosion against Brighton. Their next two matches are going to tell a lot, at Toon is another match like today’s Fulham - if you want to finish 2nd, you need to win some of those. After that, they host Arsenal which has obvious significance.

Not sure what Newcastle are going tell you at the moment bar they have one eye on the cup final.

There results have been dreadful bar those two since the first leg.

In fact I’m not sure what anything much tells you. Arsenal beat a really awful team, Villa don’t seem in the greatest form, they however did get a point against Arsenal (saying that they threw that away bit).

Arsenal however are in form so are Bournemouth and us and City and yet there are results you could point to all of us within the last 5-10.

Ultimately we will

They are regressing to mean and Diallo has seemingly suffered a season-ending injury just when Forest and Man United are about to host Arsenal.

Diallo out fo’t season, Mainoo out f’t season (I’m hearing), Ugarte out fo’t month, Collyer out fo’t month.

Big bag o’ shite over on’t caf at moment…

Still think that Arsenal thread title is a curse. And whoever set it needs to explain in a 4 post thread why they did it if Arsenal do win the title.

I set it.

And if they do win the title, only three words will be needed: It. Was. Fixed.

Why not change it to that now…

It’s also a bit shit and regardless of what Blub and his mates think they’ve got every chance of winning this. Man Utd is funny and true, that just isn’t.

And I frankly don’t give a shit getting into my 70th year moaning about being cheated out of something just please FFS change it. Whingeing bastards like Mattyhurst is fine.

I can’t change it.

Feel free to change it; I don’t care.

I only changed it because the previous title was a complete mess.

It’s not letting me change it now, either. Looks like permissions have been changed. About time, too: only the thread starter and the mods should be allowed to edit thread titles.

Hats off to David Moyes… he has turned them round and considering how little he has to work with, that is quite a feat

I’ll keep mine on thanks. They’ve beaten fellow bottom-feeders like they do every season. Before last night the highest placed team they’ve beaten were Brighton and they were 10th before they beat Chelsea.
They fluked a point against us thanks to a corrupt referee. Free-kick that should never have been given and a goal 2 minutes after the match should have finished with a foul in the build-up for good measure.
They are a fucking dog of a team with a vile, disgusting fanbase. It’s beyond me why any Liverpool fan would give them any credit for anything.
