Fair dues , that was unbelievably bad.

Just the two offside Amorim and that’s before whether it was a foul.

Mazrauoi comitted 3 fouls now and no yellow, when he should have had one for his 1st foul

If there weren’t three teams nailed on to go back down then Utd could be seriously worried about being dragged into a relegation battle. As it stands they look likely to finish the season just about where they are now.

So we need to remember that prize money/TV money payout is heavily tied to league position at the end of the season. If they get fucked out the cup and the EL, it’s going to massively impact their finances in ways that are hard for normies like us to quantify.

We already know their sponsorship deal with Adidas is reduced by 10M each season they spend outside the CL, and we know that their massive debts come due in 2026, requiring refinancing at likely far worse terms than their original terms. It’s close to being a death spiral, they REALLY needed ETH to be the one to have them back up competing at the top so that prize money, sponsorship deals, and merch sales would be able to see them through the next couple of years. Instead, he made them worse, spent 600M on bad players, and have led them to exactly where they are now.

Amorim isn’t going to last the season, and they’re going to have to bring in a pragmatist like Southgate to just steady the ship and get them to 50-60 points the next couple of seasons while they look for some way out of the financial mess they’re in.

Fuck’m.

Yup as long as pretty average teams come up and do nothing this is going happen.

There used to be one that would punch above its weight even around 15-17 but last three seasons they’ve been shit. Leeds if they come up might be decent but that Burnley teams going be awful to watch and play.

If there’s any regrets with dropping points this season, it’s gotta be against these Mancs at home.

They turn up at our place, they’ve morphed into the new Everton at least Everton did take points off Arsenal.

That’s just it though, they’ve been able to “raise their game” against bigger sides like us, Arse, City, etc by sitting back and hitting us on the counter. It’s literally just Oleball/Erikball, which is the only way these shittrucks can put in a “good” performance because it’s simple and relies on the raw pace and erratic skill of their players, rather than a cohesive system that produces chances.

Yeah it’s why I won’t write them off in that Arsenal game.

If Spurs don’t go on to win this, then Ange legit needs the sack. This is an already woeful United side decimated by injuries, with probably the slowest midfield you’ll ever see.

And this coming from someone who saw Poulsen, Shelvey and Spearing as a starting midfield.

They’d have conceded without Vicario.

Mainly because he is decent and the other ones were shite.

For fuck’s sake, I had successfully managed to purge Jay bastard Spearing from my memory…

At least I didn’t mention PFK.

Whoops… now I’ve done it.

Don’t worry Ruben, I’m here now.

Spurs are missing a trick here. Casemiro’s already on a yellow, it should be easy enough to trick him into another. He’s as thick as shit. The cunt.

I get the stories about Utd’s injuries, but if you told them they would buy a new lwb in the winter to cover for Shaw’s injuries then this XI isn’t a long way from what a lot of fans would have seen as their best. It’s only bad because so many of the players they have brought in on big contracts have been shit, but the players missing out have been no better. This is not a collection nobodies. It is a collection of players who once had enough about them to make them highly rated or in demand players who just turned to shit once they out on a utd shirt
