Premier League 2024/25 (Part 2)

You could say the same about their CBs, their CMs, their wingers, and their strikers.

Their best player is still Reece James, one of the few who was there before this nonsense started and he never plays

107m player right there.

The Senegalese keeper they had was decent but they sold him.

Why did they do that?

It’s pretty amazing that they’ve spent a billion pounds and Chelsea are still crap. It looks like they’ve gotten worse.

Or left backs at City - but at least you might be able to play those guys somewhere else.

Here you go, suggestion from the BBC chat

Anon: Given all the out of position selections by Maresca, why not play James in goal? He could hardly be worse.

Tbf once the season’s over with they’ll have gone from the billion pound bottle jobs to the billion pound Europa Conference league winners.

That’s a feat you can’t look down on.

They’ll bottle that too…

Struggling to work out what it is on a football pitch Nkunku actually does.

Lots of players and a succession of different managers with different ideas results in lack of clarity. Mendy was brought in to address the lack of confidence they had in Kepa and was their first choice for a couple of years, but then Potter seemed to prefer Kepa. By the time Poch came in the following summer he had 2 new keepers and got rid of both Kepa and Mendy :man_shrugging:

When Arsenal scored, I lost interest and moved on. It isn’t a good match, and I don’t think Chelsea is getting anything from it.

Chelsea really appear to have moved backward in three months.

Thats a shame. Would have been nice to see Arsenal drop some points here,

Great save
