Felt a bit odd how fervently some wanted them to win the FA Cup. I get the ākeeps Ten Hag in a jobā and the whole āgive them European football and make their life hellā angles, as well as spoiling Cityās day, but I donāt like giving them any hope, especially after we couldnāt beat a dogshit version of them in three attempts.

Itās basically the same way they played the last two seasons.
Home game against Fulham, all that spending, talking themselves up as title challengers and they deliver that, the same turgid slightly lucky win theyāve had for the last few years.
Robinson being interviewed by the US coverage and I have been taken aback by his accent. Itās definitely not American and has a few words that are almost scouse.

I had no idea. I thought he was a legit American, but was born in Milton Keynes, signed for Everton as an 11 year old, and lived over half his life in Liverpool.

Looks like a pretty serious leg break. One where you can see his boot pointing in the wrong direction. The challenge itself was a bit of a nothing but he just seemed to land awkwardly. The distress was immediate though with other players walking away with their head in their hands
