Im going off what I saw on the game footage.
So he has gone from not being in the CL places to not being in the title race.
Suits me fine the guys never right. I agree it’s too soon to judge but we can only continue to go about our business.

I would still have us finishing behind Arsenal and Man City. We are a work in progress under a new manager. If we manage to stay top or at least hang around close to the top through the Christmas period, then obviously we are in a title fight.
Right now my expectations are in check, as Slot gets his feet under the table. We are giving up more chances than I’d like, and I thought we would see a bit more control. It’s probably coming though. And in the meantime we press and score goals, from a variety of players, and we get back in shape defensively and it has tightened up a bit, so the signs are encouraging.
I just don’t want to say this or that at this early stage with regard to a title challenge.

Not going to entangle myself in any title talk until the final month of the season (see last season why), but we will 100% be winning the league this season.

Oh I agree, I know what a good season for Slot looks like and it’s far below winning the title.
If I’m honest with how Slot has started. And with Man City losing Rodri this is Arsenal’s possible one chance.
We might be fully at it next season and Man City will be back if they aren’t found guilty.

After United’s game yesterday he said Liverpool are going to have a good season and might even get Champions League, so he’s not backing away from that prediction yet.

Chelsea look like they will be in the top four conversation, at long last. He chopped his squad in half, and is working with the half he prefers and is getting a tune out of them.
Villa, Spurs and Newcastle might all be looking up at top four too.
And then there’s Man United, lol.

Then again if Palmer went off form I do wonder about Chelsea. Seem to be a bit fast track bullies.
Spurs are quite average in my view, Newcastle are on and off. If we remain relatively stable we should be fine.

That is the key for Chelsea, keeping Palmer fit and in form. Defensively they look very poor and were lucky on Saturday to only concede 2 goals. I bet if they played that badly against us, Arsenal or #130 they would get absolutely battered.

I’m pretty sure you meant to say ‘flat track bullies’ , and as I’ve always wondered where that expression originally comes from , I decided to investigate. Surprisingly (at least to me) it has nothing to do with athletics.
" Originally used for batsmen in cricket who tended to make hay while the sun shone and pitches were flat and thus unhelpful to bowlers , being known as a ‘flat-track bully’ meant scoring lots of runs.
