Premier League 2024/25

Oh no. I always want our opponents in full strength. What a shame.

Deserved red. Every day.

Whine whingers whine.

Also the commentator saying Saliba is a rolls Royce of a defender.

Nope he isnā€™t.

Virgil would have won the ball without fouling the player.

Like when Virgil got a red for fouling Isak last season? Virgil is a great defender but he makes mistakes too

Any chance for it to be overturned?

How many games will he miss?

Just oneā€¦the next domestic fixture

Virgil got the ball first.

Saliba got the player first.

Virgilā€™s red card was harsh , Salibaā€™s a straight forward decision

Havenā€™t seen it yet but just one match for a straight red?

Yeah. You only get elevated to 3 if itā€™s bad tackle type red

He went through Isak to get the ball. It was a simultaneous action

Virgil got a red because the VAR wouldnā€™t or couldnā€™t overrule that onfield decision.

That was a yellow all day and never a red.
Salibaā€™s is a straight out red.

Got the ball first. It was a marginal call and still been given red.

Saliba got given a yellow before being overturned.

Thereā€™s a big difference in the refereeā€™s perspective.

Had Virgil been given a yellow , the call would never have been changed to a red.

Depends on who is on the VAR monitor. It is not as clear cut.

Was clear AF that the Saliba foul needed to be overruled and then upgraded to a direct ref

The problem is not in increasing the punishment for the foul. VAR at this point isnā€™t subjectively looking at overruling a direct red given on field.

And Virgil would never be in a position that Saliba was.

Bournemouth have a chance against 10 men. Game on, anything can happen second half. Hopefully a Semenyo thunderblooter for all three points.

Saliba misses the game against us. Good. They still have lots of quality options, but he is their main man at the back. Start Nunez please and get into them. Mind you, getting ahead of myself here as we have Chelsea and then RB Leipzig before any of that.

I donā€™t mind Alan Smith but I donā€™t think the commentary is helped by former players commentating on their team.

Also it doesnā€™t matter how many red cards they have had. Two of them were reds with one that was debatable.

Bet they claim Webb was texting Stockey Park.

Weā€™ve had the Everton twat moaning on commentary whenever Liverpool played well.

Well thatā€™s Carragher. Smith doesnā€™t do objectivity in any way.
