Premier League 2024/25

Holy shit! Mateus Cunha is the real deal! Looks a special player! Spanked Fulham at home with some sublime goals! Cunha’s vision is unreal! And then there’s his touch and finishing ability!

Cunha was known as the next Firmino when Atletico bought him. It was hasn’t quite happened for him yet but you see patches from him that make it understandable why people were drawing those comparisons

Surely they can’t lose 4 PL games in a row.

Oh look! Pickford finally gets some karma payback by Norgaard. But he didn’t get injured and Norgaard gets sent off.

There’s something very wrong physically with Walker. The way Werner breezed past him means their defensive insurance isn’t there any more.

Time to let loose The Red Arrows!

He’s 34 and started having fitness issues 2 seasons ago. It’s kind of weird they’ve allowed him and stones to continue being such important players for them

You say that like it is a bad thing. In Winnipeg, that is a banging Saturday night.

Werner is if anything extremely quick.

Doesn’t mean that Walker isn’t on a decline. But he would do that to quite a lot of players as well.

His first goal yesterday, with the great first touch, was the first time I’ve really seen seen him do something and its made me think “there is that Firmino replacement he was hyped to be”

To be fair he’s still only 25, not impossible he has a move to a Liverpool level club still in his future.
