Premier League 2024/25

He is a comedy footballer. My borderline conspiracy theory is the guy who played for Inter in the CL winning season died and his agent went and found some random guy who looks like him to sell to Utd

Goldbridge is losing it. His match reaction deserves a single malt.

First person to say imagine losing to Forest at home in a semi ironic way a reminder.

Weā€™ve been on winning streaks before and havenā€™t and havenā€™t lost one since.

Iā€™ve got my doubts this is going happen here for Man Utd.

If Iā€™m honest Man Utd would have been best to give the job to RVN and then been ruthless even if he had done ok.

He needs to prioritise the cups. If he can and isnā€™t just another wank manager they happened to blow smoke up.

City slipping up again.

Itā€™s been a good day for football.

Neville shortly: INEOS needs to back Amorim, etc.

United rightfully upset about being lower in the table despite being tied on GD with Forest and ahead of Villa.

Iā€™m confused. Neville apparently never thought this was his dream side 2 hours ago.

Neville: on Monday Amorim needs to pick the best 11

Rebecca: I thought you said that was the best 11

Neville: Yes

I couldnā€™t help thinking that these were two sides that Liverpool lost to in this calendar year. For that alone, I canā€™t quite be over the moon with this result.

On the other hand, however, I donā€™t want to be too negative and ungrateful for what they are serving up. This was one of the worst matches Iā€™ve seen in my life from every point of view - aside from the end result and the comedic value of goals that Man United conceded - but Iā€™ll never, ever take it for granted, having grown up while their fans were dishing out ā€œnot arrogant, just betterā€ banter to my Liverpool-supporting friends and me.

The moment with Onana and long kick at the half-way lineā€¦ Thatā€™s just cinematic poetry, the essence of comedy in football. Thatā€™s part Mel Brooks, part Leslie Nielsen, part Jim Jarmusch. I canā€™t believe that I saw that transpire, especially with the added bonus of Mazraoui and England mirroring each otherā€™s posture while arguing over that free kick. It was even better than the second and the third goal combined. I know it wonā€™t last forever but Iā€™ll enjoy it while I can.

Spare a thought for poor Casemiro.

Ā£350k to sit on his arse for 90mins.

Imagine the shame and embarrassment he must be feeling right now.

I will be suing. Thank you.

Apparently Amorim has lost more points already at United than Arne thus far at the mighty Reds.
