Premier League 2024/25

What press are reporting its for kicking ball away not the challenge.

Honestly though, having seen a clip of it it does look like he genuinely didn’t hear the whistle.

Some nice goals and lots of controversy, but Pep kicking his chair is still my favourite moment of that half. :yum:

Which one covers on field activities.

Not nearly as gold as this.

'That is harsh’published at 17:29 British Summer Time

Man City will feel things have not gone their way, but they have got a huge one there.

In my opinion that is harsh, Leandro Trossard goes for a challenge. He is committed and the ball bounces next to him - he is already committed to winning the next challenge.

Why did Trossard do it?published at 17:32 British Summer Time

I know Mikel Arteta is furious with that decision but it is one of those incidents where surely the player has to take some responsibility.

Leandro Trossard barged into Bernardo Silva with some force. I didn’t see how that could be deemed a challenge for the ball, it was just a barge into his back.

He knew he was on a yellow. Why would you do that?

Ease up Nuno. Your no Pep lad

Again feels to me the right decision.

Of course we will have a week of debate about a 50:50 while missing the bigger events.

That’s an appalling decision if it’s for kicking the ball. It’s not about not hearing the whistle, it’s about it the challenge being something he’s already committed to when the whistle happens.

He deserves it for the barge which makes it all the more funny though.

i am watching the game, and no, for me it looked deliberately tbh , they are used to get away with it time after time.

Would have been a soft yellow for the barge but I can see why those would be given.

Giving it for kicking the ball when he’s already committed to the tussle is crazy.

But as it’s arteta and arsenal , fuck them
