Should have been a freekick to Brighton
Hair cut soon?
Commentators, the grab looked longer in slow motion, grabbing someone shirt is a ādeliberate actā and should always be penalised.
Penalise every one and you stop it completely
Penalize every one and you have refs penalizing trivial contact and fans and pundits up in arms about refs not using common sense and not understanding the game.
What a ball from Watson that wasā¦shame Mintehās played like donkey from Shrek tonight.
Superb free kick, right out the top drawer.
Pundits yes, fans no, as grabbing a shirt is completely different from other forms of contact as it is deliberate.
Mintehs 1st touch is further than I can kick a balll
Brighton playing with some urgency to try to get back in this now. 3-1 down and probably too much to do, but hereās hoping.
Sesko is plodding useless.
Good hit that by Kadioglu.
Minteh is having a mare atm
Good defending from Milly
Oh hello hello.
Thatās the worst Iāve seen a side defend a corner this season, LOL.
Brighton get a late (deserved) equaliser here and Iām going head first out the window.
3 - 2 great corner from Milly
Absolutely no less than they deserve.
Mbeumo, is the only player I would consider from Man U
Terrible from Milner.
I thought PL banned using towels to dry the ball for throw-in (rule implemented for the 2023/24 seasonā¦unless there are agreements between the teams before the match), and I also read that during the recent Newcastle vs Arsenal match, Calafori was warned by the ref for doing such.
So, why arenāt our coaching staff complained to the refs about the oppositions using towels to dry off the ball before throw-ins, such as todayās match at Brentford (or other matches that I remember the other team used the long throw weapon)? Are LFC coaching staff so dense that knowing the oppositions like to use long throws, and we agree to let them use the towels to dry the ball to provide better grip?
I have been shouting at the TV (like an old man shouting at the sky) when thereāre nothing being done by the ref or our coaching staff.
Edit: Article added for EFLā¦but I thought it was also applicable to EPL.

Found itā¦
Presumably we agreed to it? Seems a bit daft if we know they use a long throw tactic.
Maybe Slot fancies a pay out ![]()
I am really really trying to not over react, but everything is so disconnected. We are struggling we are being told because weāre facing more direct football in the past. We have an option open to us to mitigate the threat of sides who are good at long throws (refusing to allow them to dry the ball) and chose not to. We then concede goals directly from long throws we didnt deal well with against Palace and Brentford that were taken by players who used a towel to dry the ball before launching it.
