Premier League 2025/26

That could make our win tomorrow all the more consequential.

The immovable object of Nikola’s pessimism meeting the irresistible force of the universe proving early predictions wrong?

Heroic defending.

Please don’t do this to me.

Well done Sunderland.

I doubt we’ll be allowed to win tomorrow.

Away from home and Pep’s 1000 game as a manager, there is no chance the P/L or refs will alloow anything other than a Cheaty win

It’s not pessimism, it’s realism, how many times do I have to tell you, people?! Also, both Sunderland and Arsenal have gained a point on Liverpool, which neither helps Liverpool’s title defence, nor their relegation fight.

Hurry up and get a microphone in front of Mikel.

The world needs to hear what he has to say.

We may miss possibly out on Champions League, and if it’s a total disaster, even Europe. But come on, man. That sentence about relegation, that was a bit of a joke, right ?

Even if we are to have an absolutely terrible, beyond awful, season. Even if, we would still be able to stave off relegation. It’s just not possible (technically, but not really practically with these players).

The last time @Nikola told a joke…

To be honest, I didn’t think it was possible for Liverpool to lose six in seven after that nightmare run in 2021, so… Why wouldn’t we be able to get relegated? We lose to Man City tomorrow, anything’s possible. Imagine Anfield rocking when we secure promotion, though…

But mate, we have had a truly sad season so far, but sprinkled in with some success in the Champions League.
Even with truly embarrasing sackable run of form, we can still scrape above Forest and Wolves and such.
Our players, even if they play like shit, are just too good to lose almost every game.

But sure, we can lose many, many more, but not enough for relegation.
Remember, we won several games at the start of the season without mostly even playing very well. We have some individuals who can make something out of very little.

See I’m not jinxing it now, imagine winning the CL and going down… I almost did it on FM once :joy:

Just fucking win tomorrow, Reds.

Arsenal will tense up quicker than Quentin Tarantino in a women’s shoe store.

I’m having you on! But I am disappointed the way the season’s been going - actually, everything post-PSG defeat looked like a procession, like the players just lost the will and engaged auto-pilot. I know our lads are better than this but right now I’m looking at Slot to deliver and prove that he’s not some fairweather coach, to put it bluntly.
