Its clearly a penalty. So you have to really wonder why it’s ignored.
It’s a new directive introduced at half time in response to criticism of the decision in this game. It will last only long enough to dubiously apply it to us
Good process, lads
Chelse are a terrible side for one sitting that high up the table
It’s all about grinding out the results and particularly at places like Burnley. We did it last season. We have lost that knack.
They haven’t a chance of winning the title though. In fact the way they play at times a loss is always around the corner.
Of course we did the same at Burnley.
All the choices Slot has made for today are reasonable. I don’t like the preemptive moaning! I know we’re just fans passing the time online, but hopefully the team feels the support and starts to kick on.
I’m not expecting too much great football to be played after the international break and lack of training, but ideally they knuckle down and grind out the win, as Rambler said above. We haven’t been doing that enough, and ideally today something turns.
There’s a chance to go on a decent run between now and the new year and hopefully three points today will start to lift some of the gloom that seems to have enveloped.
My evaluation of them is not based on how they played against Burnley nor opposed by taking 3 points today
Me too… #
Haaland and temu Haaland trying to outdo eachother over who can piss up more chances.
They could’ve had 2 goals each.
Now Barnes is on the act, that’s the worst miss I’ve seen in a while. Murphy put it on a plate.
I can’t even bring myself to give a fuck. That’s the worst thing about Liverpool being so off the pace it makes me shrug even about games like this that should matter to me and I should be able to enjoy.
What’s the point in putting energy into the idea city are not playing well when we just did that [throws arms up into the air, gesturing wildly]
Do whatever works for you my man, I find it helps to take my mind off Liverpool and all the negativity surrounding us, had we won today I actually wouldn’t have bothered with this and instead soaked the win for longer before tuning into the boxing.
Besides no matter how bad we are, it still matters to me that Arsenal don’t get their scrubby hands on that title come May.
This game could easily be 3-3, Foden’s turn to miss a glorious chance.
Yeah I’m watching this Spanish game, I can get into it. Probably watch the Championship one tomorrow but anything PL just feels meh.
Congrats Arsenal I guess, smashing goal from Barnes.
Maybe not just yet, someone who isn’t Haaland has somehow managed to squeeze the ball in the net.
Also worth noting how the best winger the world’s ever seen has resumed normal service of looking like the new Wayne Routledge.
Lol, annnnnnnnnd Shitty behind again. Yeah this’ll be chalked off for offside. Unless the point of Dias’ elbow plays him on, hard to see how Guimares isn’t offside here. Taking waaaaaaay too long, as per.
Another very average side we made look brilliant.
I’ll be interested in how Hincapie plays today, especially assuming Arsenal will have a fair amount of the ball
On the BBC table, why is Tottenham ‘Spurs’ and Wolverhampton ‘Wolves’? Every other team is Liverpool, Everton, Arsenal etc.
It’s very jarring.
Might be how they’ve chose to be registered.
What a boring game.
Spurs look like Burnley and Arsenal look like…well, Arsenal.
If there was a poll for every league in Europe over whether the locals in that country enjoyed their league’s football, The Prem would be in the relegation zone.
NL derby and the atmosphere’s like if you were watching Maidstone v Halifax
