Itâs the second biggest city in the country and they are basically the only decent club. Theyâve probably got the biggest potential fan base in the league.
But does Birmingham and particularly Aston Villa have the structure of the Manchester teams, best London teams and Liverpool ? I donât think so.
Of course the blue Manchester team were massively inflated over years by enormous money, but I donât see the same in Villa, so thatâs what I meant by âItâs Birmingham. Difficultâ.
Yes and no I guess. Thereâs indeed Tom Bradyâs Birmingham, West Brom and even Coventry and Wolves that take a chunk of the supportâŚ

I agree, although I donât think they are anywhere near strong enough to last until the end of the season.
But they might. Leicester did. So itâs possible, just not likely.
In any case, Unai doesnât get enough credit for what he has managed to build with Villa imo.

In any case, itâs fun. And the longer the contest goes on without a team getting a big lead, the more interesting it is.

Ridiculous, but youâre right. At the start of the season they looked like they wouldnât ever score again.
Tielemans has turned out to be a quality player. There was loads of sneering about him on here when he was available, shame didnât nab him. Nice footballer.
