Premier League 2025/26

This is specifically about the young man who decided over a year ago not to get his hair cut until ManU had won 5 matches in a row.

Ahhh.

Kind of different then to the normal hair conversations here

Wow. If anybody needed it, it was the kid Sesko. Wonderful skill from Fernandes, he does Bassey with a dummy. Sesko’s first touch his marvellous and then he smashes it in the top corner. That is what Old Trafford is all about.

From the result and the scanning the match thread on live play, seems like this was a cracking game to watch. I just came down from the mountain (cold as hell and my ears are still frozen) and sat down here with my computer, with a hot coffee. Sun just went down on the way home, so was cold !

Magnificent weather though. Cold, crystal clear air as well as sky and totally windstill. The mountains were bathed in orange radiant light from the sun going down. Absolute cinema

Some job Andrews is doing at Brentford.

Not good for Aston Villa to lose a game where Brentford goes a man down in the first half and then scores afterwards. I know nothing about the actual game-play, but it’s the kind of result that pisses of fans i reckon, and particularly given Aston Villa’s position on the table. This may cost them.

The Spurs injury list is pretty wild isn’t it?

Nonetheless, you make an excellent point regarding the way that hair (or lack of it) has become weaponised, on here and elsewhere.

It’s bonkers. But it’s been like this since the first time I ever visited an English football forum. Everyone talks about the haircuts and the hair players and managers have.

It is beyond ridiculous but part of English football culture and mockery it seems.

Mods! Ban him!

He’s using naughty words!

Høh ?

I didn’t know that, but now that you say it, I haven’t seen him for a while. Did he leave us ? :frowning:

That shows the same fragility is there. I’m ok with that.

What is less fortunate for us, is that I am pretty sure that they will end higher up on the table than us come the end of the season. A scenario where they grab the last UCL spot in front of us is not unlikely.

Unless. Unless. Unless. Unless (CROSSING FINGERS) the game yesterday was a sign of some of our players finding sustainable form, which again could help carry us forward on a longer winning streak.

Wakey wakey Bissouma.

Cherki allowed to carry the ball wherever he wanted and get a free shot away. Spurs are gonna Spurs.

Shame he ended up at City, a top player.

How does the best CF the world has ever seen miss that?

This will be a comfortable win for City I think. No wonder the Spurs fans look so depressed.
