Premier League 2025/26

Now the Cucurella wanker gets palace carded because he ducks his head into the opponents shoulder and rolls around like side show bob. Really don’t like this plastic shite

Chalobah skies a very good chance from 8 yards out and then carries on like a cunt claiming it was off Guehi when it was nowhere near him. A Liverpool player would have been carded for asking the ref - Chelsea nothing. These blue shite plastic cheats are awful

Cholboah playing is wild. They’d previously discarded him and decided they needed to spend 100s of millions ona collection of other CBs. This isn’t so much a redemption for Chaloboah, but a mark of how badly they have spent and how difficult it’s been for actually good players to thrive there

I miss the game I grew up watching, profusely.

When the game wasn’t all about corruption and match fixing, referees making it all about themselves, fans more focused on creating memes and parody.

It’s just shit isn’t it?

Kelleher concedes 3 first half goals. Oh dear. Looks a lonely figure…

How about that pass from Andersen though, thing of beauty.

Is that a new rule that disallowed Eze’s goal from the free kick ?

Apparently the goal was disallowed because Guehi was less than 1m from wall. On that basis, almost every free kick can be disallowed as teams routinely put one or more of their players on/around the wall. The officials are taking the piss now.

Not new this year, but pretty unusual

If, when a free kick is taken, an attacking team player is less than 1 m (1 yd) from a ‘wall’ formed by three or more defending team players, an indirect free kick is awarded

Edit: that rule was introduced in 2019/20 season (seem to remember we did quite well!) I can’t recall it being enforced.

Brentford defenders looked disinterested in the snippets I saw. They look a strong bet to ensure at least one promoted team stays up this season.

The best thing about his continued development is it fucks off the Newcastle fans and fuels their complaints of the cartel

Also “Chelsea have a strong side” of course they do they’ve bought half of Europe.

Still sucks balls. Plastic xunts

I have no idea how Will Hughes is a Premier League footballer. I remember him being the next big thing at Derby, and he’s a Red, but goodness me, it’s painful watching him.

I have genuinely never heard of this. It’s also funny that it means Geuhi picking up and carrying the Chelsea player to relocate him 2 yards away from where he was standing was deemed legal if that was not the issue flagged on the goal

Yeah I have a feeling that is probably what led to it being chalked off.

It’s great when they can rule on stuff that’s covered in dust but basic time wasting nah.

Anyhow turned it off bored of the amount of time Chelsea have spent lying down, must be the lack of pre season.

The most technically gifted young player in England. An English version of xavi and iniesta. That was how he was spoken about when he was coming through at Derby. Was everyone just really high in the early 10s?

Didn’t he have an injury that fucked him up for a couple of years, I don’t think he ever got back. Though wasn’t there another lad at Derby Seth Johnson who was similarly talked about.

Did I just mishear that or did our commentator say that Cole Palmer, Mr best player isn’t he league, has not scored a non-penalty goal in the league since January?

Johnson was one of Leeds last big purchase of that era of overspending. I remember the day he moved there well because I was at one of the theme parks and a huge celebration broke out in the queue behind me and I turned around and saw it was lads in Leeds tops who had just heard the news. That was how highly rated he was at the time.

He struggled with injuries there, but was also a victim of what was happening at Leeds at the time. His purchase was heavily incentivized and Leeds got to a point where they genuinely couldn’t afford those additional performance clauses so just essentially killed his career to prevent them being liable for them. He eventually ended up back at derby in his late 20s and did ok but his time had passed by then
