Premier League 2025/26

F*ck me, Wilson sprinted like being in Adama Traore’s body there.

:joy:

How many goals have been scored in added time this season? Must be highest ever.

Wilson should have made the win safe for West Ham there.

Still, both Chelsea and Man Utd drop points. It’s a chance for us to gain some ground. Given the season we have been having I’m not confident that we will, but hopefully we will step up to grab all three points at Sunderland.

HBO max coming to the UK next month? Say what now.

It’s a great thing that we’ve hit form and Sunderland’s home form this season has been-… Oh…

I hear you! I’m not full of confidence going to the Stadium of Light and they have a good record at home. Still, as the margin for error narrows if we want to finish top five, it gets clearer what we have to do. That might just give us the focus we need to improve for the run-in.

Any team down to Sunderland in 11th should be looking at that table and thinking CL is a possibility.

I have never rated Frank and even I am surprised by how poor he performed at Spurs. He was genuinely the worst manager in the league.

Wasn’t aware they were just 5 points away from relegation.

A lot of people thought he was the reason for Brentford’s excellent position, it seems that Brentford are. Always worth considering when you appoint a manager.

Same here! The bottom four looked so far off the pace that I genuinely thought it would be between Forest and West Ham for 17th spot.

As for Brentford, I have to hold my hand up and say that I didn’t see them having such a good season. They sold five or six of their key players over the past two years and lost Frank, so I had them fighting off relegation at the start of the season. To think they are fighting with us for Europa League spot now… :grimacing:

I think this happens a lot. Remember Mark Warburton?

How many millions will Frank be paid for failure? The football managerial merry go round, nice work if you can get it.

Of course he was one of the main reasons, but that’s also not taking credit off what they’re doing this season. In the next few years, we’ll see. It’s a tough league and there are not many positions to be calm, if you fall asleep you can easily get dragged down.

I’m just smug because I was right for once on a football prediction

Anyhow what the hell happened to Palace. Burnley couldn’t score in a brothel and yet.

Dyche sacked, shame he didn’t last until our game.

our next five games are

Forest away
west ham home
wolves away
spurs home
brighton away
Fulham home

after that everton away and not worth looking further ATM

i know theres mitigating circumstances around other comps and injuries yada yada yada…but youd imagine if we are going to get CL qualification, these next 6 (league) games will be very telling… i dont imagine we win all six, but all six are very winable
