I am not sure this is a game to measure a coming season on, but I would be very unhappy with this game, were I a City fan, given the supposed strenght of my team.

When a team like them has a season like they did last year the question gets asked was it the players who went stale or the manager. City answered that with an answer that was a half way house. They moved on a couple of stalwarts of the last generation but didnā€™t bring in that many new players. Certainly not enough for it to be a proper refresh. But they tweaked in the coaching staff as well, but without touching pep.
